MYTH is a community-based theatre company aiming to mobilise the talents of Penang youth, age 14+ and local experienced amateur actors, singers and dancers of all ages, to bring uplifting musical theatre to the Penang stage. We appeal to a family audience, age 8+ and our works feature original musical theatre creations of Penang-based writers and composers. Founded by Dr. Nancy P. Jenster, the company is blessed with collaborations spanning a wide range of backgrounds, education and nationalities. Penang, Malaysia is a melting pot of cultures, where East meets West and performing arts is flourishing.  We intend to produce one-two musicals every year, and to keep our crowd-delighting performances in the public view throughout the next decade (at least!)
